What is Arm Lift Surgery and Who Is It Performed?

The procedure in which excess fat and skin in the arm area of the person is removed and thin and taut-looking arms are provided is called arm lift surgery. Arm lift surgeries are usually performed on women aged 40 and over. Arm lift aesthetics can be performed on anyone who has excess fat and skin in the arm area and is uncomfortable with this appearance.

How Are Arm Lift Surgeries Performed?

Arm lift surgery is started by making an “L” shaped incision from the armpit to the elbow. Mostly, only excess skin is removed from the patient and arm tension is increased. However, liposuction method is added to the arm lift procedure in patients whose arms are too thick. If this method is added, the operation will be more successful. While the operation is performed under general anesthesia, the duration of the operation varies between half an hour and three hours.
